Keepin’ It Real is a school-based prevention program designed for elementary and middle-grade students. The curriculum is designed to help students learn the risks of substance abuse, improve decision-making, and increase other positive life-skills and attitudes. It uses activities, question and answer, role play, and games in small group settings.

Students meet in ten weekly sessions, lasting from 45 minutes to an hour each. Pre-and post-tests measure how much students have learned.
