Life Skills

Life Skills

Life Skills is an in-school substance abuse and violence prevention program for upper elementary and middle school students. It helps students resist social pressure to make high-risk decisions, including smoking, drinking, and using other drugs. It also enables young people to effectively cope with social anxiety by increasing self-confidence and behavioral competency.

The curriculum is delivered over eight to twelve weekly lessons that last for forty-five minutes to an hour. Program effectiveness is measured by pre- and post-testing.
